Tiago J. Rato concluded his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering by the University of Coimbra in June of 2014. Afterwards, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (2015). Since 2016 he has been a Researcher at the Chemical Engineering Department at FCTUC. His topics of interest focus on the development and implementation of data-driven methodologies, machine learning, applied statistics, model-based engineering.
