Ricardo Barroso. Associate Professor at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (Portugal). Senior Researcher at the Center of Psychology of the University of Porto. He received his B.S. in Psychology and MSc. in Clinical Psychology from University of Minho, and a diploma in Legal Medicine from University of Porto and his Ph.D. in Psychology from University of Aveiro. Visiting scholar at University of California, Berkeley. Consultant for various national (e.g., Ministry of Justice) and international (e.g., United Nations) organizations and NGOs concerning clinical intervention in sexual and interpersonal violence, as well as self-regulation processes in behavioral addictions. Member of the Board of EFCAP (European Association for Forensic Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology). President of the Board of the Portuguese Society of Psychiatry and Psychology of Justice (2022-). He has successfully supervised 46 master's dissertations, 1 doctoral thesis and 1 post-doctoral thesis (Marie-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship). He is currently supervising 8 doctorates (5 with FCT funding).
