CAREER SYNOPSIS I am a PhD in Biology with a research trajectory in Evolutionary Ecology, more specifically in plant evolution. I studied Biology at the University of Granada with stages at the Universities of Marseille and Santiago de Compostela. I have two master degrees, one in Biodiversity and Conservation Biology from the University Pablo de Olavide and another on Secondary School Training from the University of Granada. I Performed my PhD at the University of Granada under the supervision of profs. Francisco Perfectti and José María Gómez. During my scientific career I have been as internship in laboratories from Germany (13 months) and Brasil (6 months). I am currently working as a postdoc at the Research Center on Biodiversity and Genetic Resources at Vairao, Portugal. RESEARCH INTERESTS I have a special interest in the study of the role of pollinators in the evolution and adaptive diversification of plants. For that reason, most of my scientific career has been based on the study of the evolutionary role of pollinators in the evolution of generalist pollination systems, covering from the ecological mechanisms to the results in genetic structure. Despite this integrative approximation, the need to depth into the genetic bases involved in evolution, has led me to my current postdoc where I aim to learn genomic methodologies to later integrate them into my main lines of research. In a long term I look to move forward on plant and pollination science and unveil the evolutionary paths and patterns in plants that result from their reproductive strategies and their interaction with pollinators. To do so, I am committed to combine ecology, genetics and modeling. SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION I the last five years I have published 6 SCI papers, 4 as first author (number in Q1 journals= 4; average IF= 5.67; maximum IF= 7.43, 9th in Plant Sciences). I have one paper under review as first author (IF=2.35) and two to be submitted soon. This published work sums 76 citations. I have published one book chapter and my PhD dissertation. I have 15 contributions to congresses, 12 as first author. I have reviewed 10 works in scientific journals of high impact factor such as Ecology Letters (IF=9,137), Molecular Ecology (IF=6.13) or Annals of Botany (IF=4.04) among others. OTHER INFORMATION NOT SHOWN IN THE CV I have attended to 22 national and international specialized training courses -summing a total of 780 hours-, outstanding courses on Landscape Genetics (31 hours), Pollination Ecology (105 hours), and several specialization courses in specific statistical techniques.
