It works at the interface between History and International Relations with a focus on cultural heritage. He is leader of the research group Cnpq - Heritage and International Relations. Researcher at LAPA - UFJF Heritage Laboratory and collaborator at CITCEM - Transdisciplinary Research Center "Culture, Space and Memory" at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto (FLUP). He is currently carrying out a mobility internship (Post Doctorate), at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto (2023-2024) and is a professor of Cultural Heritage in the History course at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) and teaches in the Postgraduate Program from the same university. Coordinated the Sérgio Vieira de Mello Chair (CSVM/UFJF) Management (2022-2023). Coordinated the Specialization course in History and Culture in Contemporary Brazil (Ead) at CEAD-UFJF (2022-2023); the Human Sciences area of ¿¿PISM (Mixed Selective Entry Program) at UFJF (2020-2023) and the Postgraduate Program in History at UFJF (management 2020-2023). From 2004 to 2016, he was an educator at the Ruínas Engenho São Jorge dos Erasmos National Monument - USP and Coordinator of the International Relations course at the Catholic University of Santos - UniSantos (2014-2016). He has a degree in History from Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP/Assis (1998), a Master's degree in History from the same university (2002) and a PhD in History, Politics and Cultural Assets from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2010). He was an advisor to COMPPAC - Juiz de Fora Municipal Council for the Preservation of Historic Heritage, from 2019 to 2021. He has experience in the area of ¿¿political history and cultural assets with an emphasis on Cultural Heritage, working mainly on the following themes: heritage and soft power; cultural goods; illicit trafficking in criminogenic cultural goods and collectibles; world heritage sites; heritage education; political history of the Brazilian right and Integralism.
