Ângela Romão has a Ph.D. in Social Psychology (2024) and a Master's in Social Psychology of Health (2015) from Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon. She is currently a Researcher at the Centre for Psychological Research and Social Intervention (CIS-Iscte), where she has been involved in research projects since 2013. Her most recent work (funded by Ministério da Defesa - Ref. MND-CRSM_2024) focuses on the psychosocial impact of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among veterans, including the development of a psychoeducational group intervention programme. Her research interests include informal care, dehumanization, stereotypes, health, justice perceptions, and aging.
