Valeria C Santos-Ebinuma has been working with the production of biomolecules from microorganisms since her Master's degree. In March 2013, she obtained the title of Doctor of Science from the University of São Paulo. Between March 2013 and June 2013 she did a technical internship at the Federal University of Bahia. However, in June 2013 she obtained approval for a postdoctoral scholarship from the University of São Paulo with funding from FAPESP, which she enjoyed until August 2013. Since August 2013, she has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Bioprocesses and Biotechnology from FCFAr / UNESP, Brazil Since then, she has been exercising her professional career as an Assistant Professor, having already created a research group, BioPPuL - Bioproducts ’Production and Purification Laboratory. Currently, she has accreditation in the Postgraduation programs of -Biosciences and Biotechnology Applied to Pharmacy Program. Valéria C Santos-Ebinuma presents expertise in the development of the production process and scale up from incubator shaker to bioreactor. she also works with the extraction of biomolecules from the fermented broth. Her interest is the production of natural products such as colorants, enzymes, including biopharmaceuticals, from the production step, their characterization, until their purification process.
