I obtained my Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tirana. I developed my PhD in collaboration with three institutions: NOVA University - National School of Public Health in Lisbon, Portugal; École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris, France; and Linköping University in Linköping, Sweden. The focus of my work has been in art therapy, having presented my research in various conferences, both national and international. This incited me to develop an award-winning project to bring coping mechanisms for children suffering from chronic pain making use of art therapy through an application. I've collaborated in several instances with NOVA University's National School of Public Health, first as a scholarship management candidate in the Clinical Codification Course, a joint venture with Administração Central do Sistema de Saúde (ACSS), secondly as an investigator. I have been involved in both qualitative and quantitative method studies, which has led me to working with Centro de Investigação em Psicologia at Autónoma University of Lisbon as a researcher.
