Susana Alves Pereira completed her European Ph.D. in Work, Organisational, and Human Resources Psychology in March 2022 at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Coimbra, and her Master’s degree in Human Resources Management in January 2013 from the Portuguese Catholic University. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor and the Degree Coordinator of Human Resources Management at the University of Maia. She has published 16 articles in various journals, organized 3 events, supervised 17 MSc dissertations, and co-supervised 3. She participated as a Ph.D. Student Fellow in 1 project. Her expertise lies in the field of Social Sciences, focusing on Work, Organizational, and Human Resources Psychology. Her research interests include Values-based Interventions, Decent Work, Work Motivation, Leader-Member Exchange (LMX), Work Engagement, Work-Life Balance, Psychological Detachment, Psychological Safety, Psychological Capital, and Wellbeing. As a member of the Research Center for Business Sciences (NECE), she assumes the role of the researcher responsible for characterizing Decent Work, Work Motivation and Psychological Safety patterns in Portugal. Furthermore, she actively participates in the adaptation of the Psychological Safety Scale for the Portuguese language.
