2024/02/29 - 2024/03/08 Online short course held on February 29th, March 1st, March 7th, and March 8th 2024. This course was promoted under the scope of the Horizon Europe Twinning Action EPIBOOST (Grant Agreement no. 101078991). It offered advanced theoretical lectures in environmental epigenetics. Despite epigenetic changes have been validated in medical fields, they are only starting to be recognized as important targets for the development of biomarkers to improve our mechanistic understanding of the ecological impacts of environmental challenges.

Scientific expedition

Activity description Institution / Organization
2023/10/21 - 2023/12/04 The BICOSE3 cruise that took place recently, was led by a collaborative effort involving multiple institutions and countries and aimed to explore and study deep-sea ecosystems, particularly focusing on hydrothermal fields such as TAG and Snake Pit along the Mid-Atlantic ridge. The expedition utilized state-of-the-art technology and integrated multidisciplinary approaches to investigate the geological and biological aspects of these environments. During this mission, I planned and developed several pressurized experiments with deep-sea vent fauna. Ifremer, France
