Giuseppina Sandri took her graduation in "Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology" at Faculty of Pharmacy of University of Pavia in 1999 and PhD in “Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology” in technological field at Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of University of Pavia in 2003. Since December 2008 she was Assistant Professor at Faculty of Pharmacy now Department of Drug Sciences of University of Pavia. Since August 2015 she is Associate Professor at Department of Drug Sciences of University of Pavia. Since 2017 she possesses the National Scientific Qualification as full Professor. She teaches “Pharmaceutical Technology and Cosmetics" (9 CFU) and "Experimental Models in Biopharmaceutics" (3 CFU). She is member of board of teachers of Ph.D. on "Chemical and Pharmaceuticanl Sciences and Industrial Innovation" and of Masters on "Preformulation, pharmaceutical development and control of medications" and "Pharmaceutical Technology and Regulatory activities". She is the coordinator of the Master on "cGMP Compliance and Validation in Pharmaceutical Industry". The research activity of Dr. Sandri has been developed in the fields of Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology and she is currently involved in the development of drug delivery systems and medical devices for skin and tendons reparation. The research activity leads to publish 120 papers on international journals, 16 book chapters and 6 patents and more than 200 abstracts for national and international meetings. For some pubblications Giuseppina Sandri has been awarded. Moreover she cooperated at research projects joined with foreign research groups: University of Granada, Spain, University of Lisbon, Portugal and Trinity College of Dublin, Ireland and research projects founded by pharmaceutical company. She serves as reviewer for serveral scientific journals. She is currently funded from European Commission H2020-NMBP-HUBS-2018, Project ID: 814607 “SAFETY TESTING IN THE LIFE CYCLE OF NANOTECHNOLOGY-ENABLED MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR HEALTH” as Coordinator of Pavia Unit; - Fondazione University4Innovation – U4I: Project “Chondroitin sulfate scaffold for skin engineering”, as coordinator of research team.
