Luís Veríssimo, 57, two daughters, Portuguese and Angolan nationality. PhD student in strategic communication at FCSH Nova. Master in curatorial studies of modern and contemporary art and graduated in public relations and advertising. Specialist teacher. He lectured in several university institutions, currently in the masters of FEUC, FCSH, ESCS and trainer of APAN. Jury of the 15th edition of the Effectiveness Awards (Prémios Eficácia 2019). Member of the scientific committee of the 2nd congress of science communication in Oporto. With professional experience (30 years) related to communication, he was executive director and director of strategic planning of national and multinational agencies. Founder and partner of the Manhattan Project (clients: Unilever, Vodafone, Unicer, Volkswagen, Century 21, Sumol, Terra Nostra, Philip Morris, among others). The Manhattan Project was the author of a crowdsourcing platform - www.ideahunting.net - which brought together over 6500 users and was honored with two awards: the best of services and commerce in the category of new concepts and a Sapo award for design. He is currently an Independent Strategic Consultant. Created and manages a new concept of tourism, tourism around books (www.leiturismo.com). He has been organizing an Advertising Festival since 2002. He is the founder of Voodoo Marmalade (www.voodoomarmalade.com). Composer, musician, author of songs and lyrics, musical director. He concluded more than once the marathon of London and New York - for solidarity - and climbed to the highest point of Africa, the Kilimanjaro, because according to the guide we were always almost, almost at the top.
