Rita Pereira holds a degree in Nutrition Sciences, since 2020, and a Master's degree in Public Health, completed in 2023. In 2021, she undertook a professional internship at the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto (ISPUP), focusing on Community Nutrition and Research in Nutrition and Public Health. Since 2022, she has been part of the Lab Eating Behaviors and Childhood Obesity. She also contributed to the EUCAN-Connect project, working on metadata management for the Generation XXI cohort between July 2022 - 2024. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Public Health, with her research centered on eating disorders epidemiology.
