I hold a degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration, both acquired from the esteemed Faculty of Economics at the University of Porto. Currently, I am actively engaged in the pursuit of a Ph.D. in Political Science at the Institute of Social and Political Sciences, University of Lisbon (ISCSP-ULisboa). As a scholarship holder from FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, involved in project 2021.05203.BD, I also serve as a Researcher at the Centre for Public Administration and Public Policies (CAPP, ISCSP-ULisboa). My current research revolves around my Ph.D. thesis titled The role of leaders in building ethno-identitarian spatial narratives in the case of the Donbas conflict, under the supervision of Professor Pedro Fonseca and Professor Maria de Fátima Amante. I boast a robust background in scientific research, actively contributing to various projects and competitions. Notably, in 2009, I received a research integration scholarship at CETE (Research Center in Industrial, Labour and Managerial Economics), where I conducted a project on Professional mobility of immigrants in Portugal under the guidance of Professor Anabela Carneiro. Subsequently, in 2010, my colleagues and I secured first prize in the FEP/AEFEP research competition for the work "Corruption in Local Authorities: Brief Theoretical Analysis and Explanatory Model" at the Faculty of Economics, University of Porto. From 2010 to 2011, I pursued a research fellowship on the "Timing Ability of European Mutual Funds," affiliated with the Centre for Economics and Finance of the University of Porto (CEF.UP), guided by Professors Ana Paula Serra and Carlos Francisco Ferreira Alves. These experiences have not only fueled my passion for scientific research but have also honed my working capacity, notably refined during my master's dissertation entitled Transfer pricing of intangible assets as a tax management tool, under the guidance of Professor Abel Luís da Costa Fernandes. In my professional journey, I bring over 8 years of expertise in Transfer Pricing (2012-2020). During this period, I actively participated in diverse national and international projects across various sectors at PwC Portugal. My role involved advising on the identification, development, and implementation of effective solutions for valuating transactions between related parties in alignment with legal regulations. The comprehensive support I provided included defining and assessing pricing policies, conducting thorough analyses of functional aspects, risks, and assets, preparing sector analyses, determining optimal functional models in restructuring processes, and actively engaging in transfer pricing controversy and dispute resolution. My extensive experience reflects a profound understanding of the intricacies associated with Transfer Pricing, coupled with a proven track record of delivering strategic solutions.
