Mélanie R. Maia, PhD, is Doctor of Global Studies - Global Health (2022, NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities, NOVA University of Lisbon). Master degrees in Biological Engineering (2008, University of Minho) and in Hygiene and Safety at Work (2013, NOVA School of Science and Technology, NOVA University of Lisbon). With wide industry and research experience (>10 years), Mélanie focus is on Global Digital Health and Implementation Science. She is collaborating in several ongoing national and international projects, digital health-related, mainly in the scope of patients’ safety, professionals’ health and capacity strengthening and digital health transformation processes (VigSaúde Brasil (2023), eHospital4Future (2023), MEAOW@solarUV (2023), Smart_Decision@Crisis (2022), PHIRI (2022), Kerasites Project (2022), METHIS Goal-oriented Care (2018)).
