BA in Fine Arts at Escola Superior de Artes e Design das Caldas da Rainha where he was been a teacher since 2003. Doctorate in Visual Arts and Intermedia at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. Artist and teacher, divides his activity not only between sculpture, drawing and photography, but also constantly rethinks the complex story of the intertwined historical relation between these two media. He has held several solo and group exhibitions in Portugal and abroad. He is an adjunct professor at the Caldas da Rainha School of Arts and Design. From 2014 until 2022 he was deputy director and acting director of the School of Arts and Design and Pro President for Culture and Libraries at the Polytechnic of Leiria. He was a finalist for the prizes: IV International Expanded Painting Prize (2007), awarded by the Museo de Bellas Artes de Castellón, Spain; and X Mostra Internacional UNION FENOSA (2008), at the Museo de Arte Contemporâneo União Fenosa, Coruña, Spain.
