Luana Ramos is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Equigerminal, working on the CIICOH I project, which integrates clinical, laboratory, and environmental data with predictive tools based on artificial intelligence, such as Digital Twin Sentinels. She completed her PhD in Biology in 2025 at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, in collaboration with CIIMAR-UP – the Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research. She holds an MSc in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution (2014) and a BSc in Biology (2012), both from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, with her master’s research conducted at CIBIO-UP – Research Centre in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources. She has published 6 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, organized 2 academic events, and has been involved in 3 research projects: as a PhD Fellow, Postdoctoral Fellow, and Research Fellow.
