Graduated in Law at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2016), master's degree in Civil Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Porto, Portugal (2020), and currently a doctoral student in Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Porto, Portugal. Worked as a lawyer from 2017 to 2021 in Brazil and Portugal. From 2021 to 2023, she had a research fellowship at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Justice (CIJ) and, since January 2024, she has been funded by the FCT Doctoral fellowship, with this same centre as her host institution, actively participating in the centre's research activities and publications. She is also part of the research project "It's a wonderful (digital) world: Law in a digital and technological society." In the course of her Master's thesis and Doctoral dissertation, she had stays at the University of Salamanca, Spain (2019), at the University of Tartu, Estonia (2022), and at the Universit of Valladolid (2023), engaging in academic research, attending classes, and events related to her research topic. She has national and international publications focusing on the discussion of Smart Contracts and blockchain technology within Private Law, specifically Contract and Consumer Law. She has participated in European projects, Observatory, conferences (as a speaker and attendee), and courses not only related to her main research topic but also in other areas of interest. In the scope of her research activities, she has conducted some classes on Smart Contracts in open classes and specialized courses. Her native language is Portuguese, and she also has a C1 level in English and Spanish.
