Anabela Moreira is currently a PhD student at ICVS/School of Medicine, University of Minho, and UCL School of Pharmacy. She finished her Integrated Master's in Bioengineering with a specialisation in Molecular Biotechnology from the Faculty of Engineering and the Institute of Biomedical Science Abel Salazar of the University of Porto, Portugal, in 2019. Her research interests are mainly related to neuroscience, particularly neurodegenerative diseases, as well as central nervous system regenerative medicine. She is experienced in cell and tissue culture, biotechnology, biomaterial fabrication and engineering, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine for various health-related applications. Anabela has published several review and original articles in diverse fields of tissue engineering and presented various posters at both national and international conferences.
