I hold a double Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and the University of Beira Interior, Portugal. I have participated in several research projects primarily focused on digital transformation and operations management. I also collaborate as a reviewer with the editorial teams of the International Journal of Production Economics and the Journal of Knowledge Management. Currently, I work as an Assistant Professor at the University of Beira Interior. My main research and professional interests include Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Complex Systems, Digital Transformation, Resilience Engineering, Sustainability, Data-driven decision-making and System Dynamics
