Ana Catarina Nogueira Cancela Oliveira completed her Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 2015 from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro and a Master's Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2017 from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. She obtained her PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar (ICBAS), University of Porto. During her doctoral studies, she was a researcher at the Center for Drug Discovery and Innovative Medicines at the University of Porto. She has published three articles in specialized journals as first author and works in the areas of Medical and Health Sciences, emphasising Basic Medicine, Physiology, and Neurosciences. She completed her Integrated Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2024 from the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of the University of Porto (ICBAS). She currently works as a veterinary doctor at a small animal clinic.
