Nuno Antunes is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics Engineering of the University of Coimbra. Since 2008 he has been actively researching topics of Secure and Dependable Software with the Centre for Informatics and Systems of the University of Coimbra (CISUC). His expertise includes testing techniques, fault injection, vulnerability injection and benchmarking, which are applied to the assessment of intrusion detection systems, virtualized environments, web services, web and mobile applications, and data management systems. Nuno was PC co-Chair of ISSRE 2020, and he has authored or co-authored multiple book chapters and papers in refereed journals and conferences in dependability, reliability, security and services. He is the PI of the METRICS project (funded by FCT), which aims at measuring and improving the trustworthiness of cloud services for data analytics, while preserving the rights of the data subjects. He has contributed to many other research projects, both at the national and European level, including the European projects, namely H2020: ATMOSPHERE, PoSeID-on, EUBra-BIGSEA and EUBrasilCloudFORUM, and FP7: DEVASSES, CECRIS and Critical-STEP.
