Jennifer Dobson works in Translation Studies in the intersection between Translation and Chemistry/Life Sciences. Her work has a focus on History of Science, particularly the Chemical Revolution of the late eighteenth century. Jennifer holds a BSc in Chemistry with French from the University of St Andrews, an MSc in Scientific, Technical and Medical Translation from University College London, and has professional experience as a Life Sciences and Medical translator. She is currently participating in the Translation Studies doctoral programme at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She is a member of the CETAPS research group, the CECC research group and the EPISTRAN research project.
