Jônatas Augusto Manzolli is a PhD candidate in Sustainable Energy Systems at the University of Coimbra. He holds an MSc in Energy for Sustainability from the same institution and a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Campinas and the Technical University of Munich. His research in electric mobility earned him the SYLFF award from the Tokyo foundation for young world leaders. Additionally, in 2019 he was selected to participate in the International Workshop on Innovating, an event dedicated to outstanding young researchers from Portugal, held at MIT. Before his current position, he worked as a software developer at IAV Automotive Engineering in Munich, Germany. Since 2020 he has been a Fellow Researcher at the Institute for Systems Engineering and Computers at Coimbra (INESCC). His research interests include optimization, AI, urban transportation, and electric vehicles.
