Olivia Morgan Lapenta is a Researcher at Universidade do Minho. She works with Human Cognitive Neuroscience research. She worked in several topics including: action observation and imagery; McGurk effect; food craving; rubber-hand illusion; social pain; attention and mind wandering processes; and sensorimotor entrainment. At the moment, is focused in two lines of research: i. food perception and interventions towards population with eating disorders or altered taste perception and ii. audiovisual integration and its implications in movement perception and execution. Olivia has expertise in tDCS and EEG and the combination of the two techniques and also has experience with eye-tracking, TMS and EMG techniques applied to cognitive neuroscience investigations. Also has 4 years of teaching experience at graduate level.
