I have a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, specializing in Genetics (Faculty of Medicine from University of Lisbon), and 15 years of experience in disease genetics research. Throughout my career, I have been actively engaged in groundbreaking research, which has led to significant contributions to the scientific community. As a co-inventor of two pending patents, I have demonstrated my ability to develop innovative solutions that address critical challenges in the field of genetics. As a Principal Investigator, I have successfully secured €300K in research funding, empowering me to lead and execute impactful projects that have the potential to transform lives. Furthermore, I possess extensive expertise in both wet lab techniques and bioinformatics big data analysis. My dual proficiency allows me to bridge the gap between cutting-edge laboratory experimentation and leveraging data-driven insights to gain a comprehensive understanding of complex biological processes.
