Rita Rebelo finished her PhD in Biomedical Engineering in 2017 at University of Minho, and her M. Sc. Degree in Biomedical Engineering, with specialization in Biomaterials, Rehabilitation and Biomechanics, in 2009, by the same university. During her career, Rita published 16 papers in peer reviewed journals, 6 book chapters, 1 invited journal cover, and she has 1 patent. Additionally, she participated in several national and international conferences, resulting in 9 conference papers, 20 conferences posters and 8 oral presentations. She was involved in the organization of 8 different scientific events. Furthermore, she developed skills related to project management, supervising skills, working in team and partnerships (through the several collaboration projects), among others.
