Scientific expedition

Activity description Institution / Organization
2024/10/15 - 2024/10/19 As a part of the EuroCurvoBioNet COST Action, I took part in a Short Term Scientific Mission (STSM) in which I visited the Institute of Condensed Matter and Complex Systems of the University of Edinburgh. I worked under the supervision of Dr. Giuseppe Negro to develop a multiscale model that brings together a macroscopic description of the cell membrane deformation, using a phase-field model, with a description of the cytoskeleton as a collection of active filaments.
