Cristiana Santiago Tejo is an integrated member of the Department of Art History at Nova de Lisboa. She was a fellow researcher at the Project Artists and Radical Education in Latin America 1960s and 1970s (2018-2019) coordinated by Giulia Lamoni and financed by FCT. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology (2017) from the University State of Pernambuco. She organized the publications "Paulo Bruscky - Art and Multimedia"(2014) and "Curating in five dimensions"(2017). She published chapters in the following books: "Resistance Performed - An Anthology on Aesthetic Strategies under Repressive Systems in Latin America"¿ (JRP Editions, 2016), "Teresa Burga: Aleatory Structures" (JRP Editions, 2018), and as a co-author at "Arrival Cities: Migrating Artists and New Metropolitan Topographies in the 20th Century "(Leuven University Press, 2020). The main points of her research are Curating, Latin America, Art education, radical pedagogies, decolonial thought and practices, immigration, Contemporary Art, and International networks.
