Hajer Radhouani

Hajer Radhouani is graduated in Industrial Engineering in Agronomy (Agro-Industries and Biotechnologies) at Institut Supérieur Industriel Agronomique de Huy/Gembloux (Huy, Belgium) and obtained her European Ph.D. in Technologic, Comparative and Molecular Genetics from the Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (Vila Real, Portugal) in a collaboration with the Universidad de La Rioja (Logroño, Spain) and the Universidad de Vigo (Ourense, Spain). Since 2013, she is a PostDoctoral Researcher at the PT Government Associate Laboratory ICVS/3B's (Guimarães, Portugal) and holds more than 9 years of experience in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. She earned a Postdoctoral fellowship (SFRH/BPD/100957/2014), and more recently, a 6-year contract (CEECIND/00111/2017), and an FCT project (PTDC/BTM-MAT/29760/2017) of which she was the PI. She published 56 publications listed in ISI Web of Knowledge, 3 international granted patents, and 8 book chapters, among others. She is the corresponding author of 5 published scientific papers, and also 4 chapters, having a Scopus h-index of 30 and more than 2294 citations (Google Scholar). Recently, she was also editor of a Major Work Reference entitled "Polysaccharides of Microbial Origin. Biomedical Applications", which was published by Springer Nature in March 2022.
