I hold a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Coimbra (2009) and a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (2022). With extensive experience in data analysis and modeling, I specialize in applying machine learning and deep learning techniques, particularly in precision viticulture and hyperspectral imaging. My research interests encompass big data, metadata, data mining, data modeling, data visualization, exploratory data analysis, optimization, design of experiments, pattern recognition, multivariate statistical analysis, machine learning, deep learning, digital image processing, imaging sensing technologies, statistical computing, chemometrics, and bioinformatics.
