Dzmitry Ivanou obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2005. Following this, he joined the BSU as a Junior member of the teaching staff. His dedication to academia led to the attainment of the academic title of Docent in Chemistry in 2010. Dr. Ivanou served as an Assistant Professor from 2010 to 2014, where he imparted knowledge through general chemistry courses, practical sessions, and laboratory classes focusing on inorganic chemistry and electrochemistry for master's students. Since 2014, Dr. Ivanou has been an integral member of LEPABE at UPorto, Portugal, initially as a post-doctoral researcher; and assistant researcher 2017-2022. In 2017 Ph.D. thesis of Ivanou underwent the official qualification procedure at the University of Porto and was approved by UPorto with the grade of Ph.D in Physical Chemistry. Since 2022, he has been holding the position of principal investigator at the University of Porto Engineering Faculty, LEPABE. Primary research interests and responsibilities as a group leader focus on specifically Perovskite Solar Cells (PSCs) and Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs). His research endeavors aim to address both fundamental and applied aspects, with the ultimate goal of advancing these technologies towards mass production. Within the framework of LEPABE, Dr. Ivanou has contributed to 12 scientific projects, including EU-funded. His contributions encompass research activities, scientific consultancy, and publication of articles in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and patents, reflecting commitment to advancing knowledge and innovation in the field of photovoltaics. Current research activities and developments cover knowledge fields of Exact Sciences, particularly Materials Engineering and Processes, Coatings and Films, Nano-materials, Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Electrochemistry, and Optics.
