Minh Nhat Trinh holds a Bachelor's degree in Automation and Control Engineering (2017, excellent grade, top 1% graduation) and a Master's degree in Automation and Control Engineering (2021, very good grade) from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (Vietnam). He has published 11 scientific articles, including 8 conference proceedings, 3 Q1 journal. He has received several honors and awards for academic achievements. He is currently a AI Research Fellowship at the Quantitative Bio-Imaging Lab, Centro de Ciências do Mar (CCMAR) under the supervision of Dr. Teresa Correia and Dr. Anna Kreshuk (EMBL), working as part of the EU-funded IMAGINE project focused on integrating new imaging technologies for studying biological specimens. His work involves developing deep learning-based image reconstruction, processing, and analysis software tools for modalities like lightsheet microscopy, optical projection tomography, X-ray, CT and MRI; with key goals of publishing research, presenting findings, deploying methods as plugins, and pursuing PhD funding in this interdisciplinary field combining AI and cutting-edge imaging for investigating biological structures.
