Sónia Gouveia develops skills in human resource management (including directing the technical department), safety management, hygiene and occupational health, implementation and coordination of continuous improvement processes, management and coordination of industrial licensing processes, consulting on layout definition, management of industrial machinery and equipment maintenance, planning, scheduling, and coordination of preventive measures implementation, coordination and monitoring of audits and inspections, among other activities. With a Master's degree in Occupational Safety and Hygiene Engineering and a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering, she has gained professional experience in industrial settings and service entities. She holds the title of Specialist under Decree-Law No. 206/2009, of August 31, amended by Decree-Law No. 27/2021, of April 16, in the area of Industrial Management. She is pursuing a PhD in Strategic Management área at the University of Salamanca, Faculty of Sciences, with an approved research topic titled "Exploring the Integration of Digital Transformation Strategies into Organizational Strategic Management." For about two years, she has been teaching in higher education in management áreas. She has started developing her scientific research component, specifically regarding scientific production and scientific actualization. She is a collaborating member of CISeD - Center for Research in Digital Services. She has also collaborated with higher education institutions and other entities related to education and training since 2005, notably in the form of student guidance in work context environments. She demonstrates the ability to integrate the different areas of knowledge in which she operates, striving to contribute to the overall improvement of performance and competitiveness of companies and entities.
