Inês S. Fernandes completed her MSc in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering in 2021 at the NOVA School of Science and Technology - NOVA University of Lisbon. She has published an article in a Q1 scientific journal and presented an oral communication at a national scientific conference. Additionally, she supervised a BSc conclusion project and is currently overseeing an R&D curricular project. Inês has also tutored an MSc dissertation and participates as a PhD Student Fellow in three projects (one European and two national). Her primary scientific interests include solar fuels, green chemistry, electrochemistry, electrochemical carbon dioxide (CO2) reduction, water (H2O) electrolysis, electrolyzers, porous electrodes, and mesh-based modeling/simulation. Through her work, she aims to advance sustainable energy technologies and environmentally friendly (electro)chemical processes.
