Vanda Correia holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and a PhD in Sport Sciences (funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology Portugal) from the Faculdade de Motricidade Humana, University of Lisbon (FMH-UL). In her doctoral research she as focused on investigating Decision Making in Team Sports such as rugby union. Nowadays she is particularly motivated to master and apply ecological dynamics framework in research on child motor learning and development, and in pedagogical interventions. Vanda Correia is Assistant Professor and Director of the degree in Sport at the School of Education and Communication of the University of Algarve, Portugal. At University of Algarve she teaches, among other subjects, Motor Development and Learning, Child Motor Skills, and Sport Pedagogy and supervises internships for the degree in sport and theses in the master's degree in preschool education. Vanda Correia has published articles in international peer-reviewed journals, chapters of both national and international peer-reviewed books and edited a book. She also authored or co-authored numerous works at both national and international peer-reviewed congresses with different formats such as invited speaker, oral communication or poster.
