Giulia Priora is Assistant Professor at NOVA School of Law and Director of the NOVA IPSI Knowledge Centre on Intellectual Property and Sustainable Innovation. She teaches intellectual property law (patent law, trademark law, copyright law, industrial design law), IP and sustainability, legal research methodologies, and EU digital policies. She is currently Visiting Professor at University of Alicante (Spain) and at Institute of Legal and Social Sciences of Praia (Cabo Verde). Her main research interest lies in IP and sustainability, international, EU and comparative copyright and design law, patent and trademark law in green industries, and distributive IP legal reasoning. She has been guest lecturer at the universities of Münster (Germany), Yangon (Myanmar), Szeged (Hungary), Trento (Italy) and visiting scholar at Columbia Law School (US), Hamburg University (Germany), and Bournemouth University (UK). She is member of CEDIS – Research Centre on Law and Society and ATRIP, permanent contributor at Kluwer Copyright Blog, and affiliated researcher at MJRC - Media and Journalism Research Center.
