Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sciences University of Lisbon (FCUL), and former Associate Professor with habilitation at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Founder and Leader of the Subterranean Ecology Research Group at Center for Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Changes (cE3c), and Curator of Myriapoda at the National Museum of Natural History and Science, University of Lisbon. Member of the Council of the Department of Animal Biology-FCUL, and of the Scientific Council of the cE3c. Prof. Reboleira completed the Programme in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Programme (2018) at the University of Copenhagen; PhD in Biology (2012), MSc. in Ecology, Biodiversity and Ecosystems Management (2007) and BSc in Biology (2006) by the University of Aveiro, Portugal. Currently, >100 peer review publications, 8 book chapters e 2 books. Organised 26 events. Supervised 1 Research Assistant with PhD, 3 postdocs, 2 PhD students, 15 MSc, and other small projects. PI of 7 research projects (funding >1,5 M€ as PI), member of 4, consultant in one, and collaborator of 6, in Denmark, USA, Portugal and Spain. Gave >170 talks in scientific events and outreach, including a TEDx talk. Discovered and described >70 new taxa for science.
