Ana Ferreira holds a PhD Degree in Telematics and Information Society from the University of Florence and has more than 8 years of experience in European R&D projects in both automotive and Air Traffic Management (ATM) domain. She is working as a Human Factors senior consultant in DBL where she has been involved in consulting activities related to Flight Deck, RPAS and ATM R&D. Her involvement in past projects like ACROSS (Advanced Cockpit for Reduction of Stress and Workload), MOTO (the embodied reMOte TOwer), INNOVATE consortium (Specific Agreement 4, Lot 5) and SESAR 2020 allowed her to gain a relevant body of knowledge on decision-support tools, automation and human-machine interface (HMI) impact on human performance aspects. She has worked in projects with EUROCONTROL and ENAV. Currently she is involved in SESAR 2020 PJ06 (Trajectory Based Free Routing) and PJ10 Solution 01a (High Productivity Controller Team Organisation) and 05 (RPAS IFR Integration) as Human Performance expert.
