Mahmoud Karaz is an experienced Project Manager in the Middle East and western Europe, and a Researcher. With a demonstrated history of experience in the building and transportation construction projects. His main focus is on applying innovation into the industry through the application of modern construction principles rather than conventional ones and strives to incorporate new technologies and approaches such as (Location-based management, sustainable design, Offsite construction, Lean construction, BIM and IPD). Completed the Magister (2.º ciclo de estudos) in Construction Technology Management in 2017/06/23 by Politechnika Poznanska and Bachelor in Geomatics and Surveying Engineering in 2011/02/08 by Al-Balqa' Applied University Faculty of Engineering. Mahmoud currently attends the Doutoramento in Thinking systems using Lean Construction, Building information modelling (BIM) and Intenet of Things (IoT) by Universidade do Minho Departamento de Engenharia Civil. Is a PhD student in Universidade do Minho Centro de Território Ambiente e Construção. Works in the area(s) of Engineering and Technology with emphasis on Civil Engineering with emphasis on Construction Engineering.
