E. Glenn Schellenberg is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto, and Principal Researcher in the Department of Psychology at Iscte - University Institute of Lisbon. His research focuses on intersections between cognition and music, examining how music is perceived and remembered, and how exposure to music influences how listeners think and feel. His research participants include human infants, children, and adults. Recent studies have focused on musical ability and its relation to music training, demographic variables, cognitive ability, and personality. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals, including Psychological Science, Annual Review of Psychology, Cognition, Developmental Science, and Emotion.
