Psychologist with distinguished experience in Educational Psychology and Inclusive Education, currently serving at the Institute for Qualification, IP-RAM (Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology) since June 2024. Completed a Doctorate in Applied Psychology in September 2024 and an Integrated Master's in Psychology in July 2018, both from the University of Minho. Possesses Advanced Training in Psychological Assessment within the scope of Inclusive Education/Special Educational Needs and Advanced Specialization in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies. Author of international scientific articles and chapters, and ad hoc reviewer for Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, and Education journals. He completed a curricular internship at the Cerebral Palsy Association of Braga (2017-2018) and a professional internship at Rosário, Hogemann & Pereira - Psychology and Education, Ltd. (2018-2019). As a Doctoral Research Fellow of the Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P., between 2020 and 2024, developed and collaborated on various action-research projects through psychological assessment and intervention with different populations (e.g., students from elementary to higher education, adults with disabilities and/or incapacities). Experienced trainer in courses aimed at various educational agents (e.g., 'MENTOR Trainer Training - Self-Regulatory Tutoring' from the Directorate-General for Education/School of Psychology at the University of Minho) as well as courses for rehabilitation technicians. Teaches undergraduate and master's courses at the University of Minho and the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro. His curriculum highlights national and international awards, such as the "Dr. Maria Lutegarda Scientific Research Award - Research Team" granted by the AFID - Difference Foundation in 2023, the "Student and Early Career Professional Scholarship Award" from the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in 2022, and the "Junior Professional Year Award 2019 - Northern Regional Direction" awarded by the Portuguese Psychologists Association in 2020. Organized various scientific events and community interaction initiatives, and has numerous presentations at international congresses and conferences. Full member of the Portuguese Psychologists Association, international member of the American Psychological Association (APA), and integrates Divisions 5 (Quantitative and Qualitative Methods) and 15 (Educational Psychology) of the APA.
