Ana Flávia is a PhD student in Engineering and Management at the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon, and holds a PhD scholarship in Centro de Estudos de Gestão do Instituto Superior Técnico (CEG-IST). She holds a BSc in Production Engineering (UFCG) and an MSc in Production Engineering (UFRN). During her Masters, she worked on the prioritisation of patients eligible for beds in the Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU), in a context of scarce resources, from the perspective of Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) while conducting an applied research at the Secretaria do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte. In February 2022, she enrolled on the PhD Program in Engineering and Management from IST. Her research field is related to Behavioural Operational Research and Multicriteria Decision Analysis applied to Web-Delphi participatory processes and decision conferences. Ana Flávia is advised by professors Ana Vieira, from the Engineering and Management Department at IST, and Gilberto Montibeller, from Loughborough University. The title of her thesis is “Behavioural challenges in patient preference elicitation within the scope of multicriteria decision analysis".
