- I completed dissertation in 2004/05/04 at Umeå University, Sweden. I am currently a Lecturer in Animal Ecology at the Department of Ecology and Genetics, Uppsala University, Sweden. My general field of research/line of research lies in the intersection of Evolutionary Ecology with gut microbial communities and metacommunity dynamics. - I have published 55 articles in in peer-reviewed journals. I have received 3 awards and/or honors. My h-index is 32 and I have attracted 7366 citations on my published papers. - I have supervised 4 PhD students, and co-supervised another 6 PhD students. I have also supervised 18 MSc students, and 2 post-docs. - I have been teaching at 10 different courses ranging from basic levels through MSc levels as well as for PhD students. I am currently the Director of studies for the PhD education at the Department of Ecology and Genetics, Uppsala University as well as the Program Director, Master of Science in Biology at Uppsala University. - I have been the opponent at 7 thesis defenses, and in the committee of another 15 thesis defenses. I have evaluated 14 grant proposals e.g. for NSF, NSERC. - I am an Associate Editor for the American Naturalist and have reviewed papers for more that 50 other journals. - to avoid an excessively long Cv, I have added only publications from 2015-2020
