I began my journey in 2013, in the field of mechatronics, with a focus on robotics, actively participating in several national and international robotic competitions. In 2020, I obtained a BSc in Industrial Chemistry, at the University of Beira Interior (UBI), Covilhã, Portugal, with a focus on organic synthesis. My work involved the optimization of quinoline N-oxides synthetic routes for pharmaceutical applications. From this, I performed a poster presentation at the XV Annual CICS-UBI Symposium 2020, entitled Preparation of quinoline N-oxides by 2 nitrobenzilidene reduction: An optimization study. I obtained 19/20 in the final chemistry project entitled Otimização da síntese de N-óxidos de quinolina a partir da redução da 2-(2-nitrobenzilideno)ciclohexano-1,3-diona and an overall grade of 16/20 on the degree. In 2022, I obtained my MSc in Chemistry, at Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal, with a focus on meteorite analysis and prebiotic chemistry. From this, a poster presentation entitled Ribonucleoside stability and prebiotic synthesis for the CQE Days 2022 and an oral presentation entitled Why not nucleosides in meteorites? An approach based on mechanochemical studies, for the EuChemS Chemistry Congress 2022, were elaborated. In my master's thesis, I proposed a new model for the degradation of soluble organic content within meteorites upon atmospheric entry process. I obtained 19/20 in the master's thesis entitled Ribonucleoside stability and prebiotic synthesis and an overall grade of 17/20 on the degree. Due to the strong positive feedback from my master´s evaluator and with the objective to test the proposed model, two international collaborations were created, featuring the Astrobiology Analytical Laboratory from NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, supervised by Dr. Jason P. Dworkin and Dr. Daniel P. Glavin, and the Institut de minéralogie, de physique des matériaux etde cosmochimie, supervised by Prof. Dr. Laurent Remusat. In addition to the scientific progress that I had acomplished over the years, I have been actively involved with associativism, being part of student groups and associations, aiming to promote the dissemination and discussion of science in Portugal and in the world. Of all the events that I co-organized, The Digital Colloquium of Chemistry Students in Portugal 2021 was the most important one, which brought together several renowned national and international speakers (https://www.anequimica.com/dccsp_eng.html).
