2021/09/04 - 2021/09/10 The project designed by Marta Orszt and Dorota Balewicz received a special mention at the finals of Guiltless Plastic Exposition which took place at 2021 Design Week in Milan, Italy. The awarded concept was born from the need to reuse the plastic waste generated by the family business producing ecological materials made out of reed (Phragmites australis). Masuria solves the problem of reusing polluted plasic - polypropylene ropes which are the base material of the design are not recyled in Poland because of organic shreds entangled in them.

2019/05/01 - 2019/05/15 The CI-ESG Research Center of the Escola Superior Gallaecia and the Municipality of Paredes de Coura hosted Vernadoc Camp Português.The VERNADOC started over a century ago in Finland and is currently being developed under the auspices of ICOMOS.The two-week camp took place in the municipality of Paredes de Coura, in northeastern Portugal. A community threshing floor and its granaries located in Porreiras were documented.
