Professor Marta Dionísio is currently an Associate Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar and Coordinator of the Language Centre. She has 24 years of experience as a lecturer at a higher education level. She obtained her Ph.D. in American Studies with the thesis entitled Oprah Winfrey, the Art of Communicating from the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Letters, in 2015, in the scientific field of Studies of Literature and Culture; her Master in American Studies entitled Lucille Ball - an American Woman from the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Letters, in 2005; and her BA in English and German Teaching from the University of Aveiro, in 1997. She was also member of the Board of Directors of the Techn&Art Research Centre - Technology, Restoration and Arts Enhancement Center until 2023 being an Integrated Researcher since 2018 until the present.
