Indian Languages: Literatures and Conversations
India is proud of its plural and diverse culture which to a great extent rests on its multilingual heritage. The number of
languages spoken here gives it a special position in the world. The 2011 census of the Govt. of India lists 121 different
mother-tongues spoken by Indians. Therefore, this conference can be a chance to present the major literary trends of Indian
