João Pedro de Sousa Peres Oliveira Ribeiro

João Pedro de Sousa Peres Oliveira Ribeiro. Completed his PhD in Environmental Sciences and Engineering in 2024 by Universidade de Aveiro, Master Degree in Environmental Engineering in 2013 by Universidade de Aveiro, and Graduation in Environmental Engineering in 2011 by Universidade de Aveiro. Currently a Junior Researcher at CICECO - Aveiro Institute of Materials, his main research interests include wastewater treatment, advanced oxidation processes, membrane separation, innovative sustainable materials, industrial waste valorisation, and circular economy. To the present, João P. Ribeiro has published 16 articles in international peer reviewed journals (h-index 11, SCOPUS) and 10 conference papers (3 of them also indexed in SCOPUS). He has also delivered 24 communications in international scientific meetings, and acted as a reviewer for over 60 articles distributed by 18 international journals. He was part of the organisation of several science dissemination events, where he showed to the scientific community and general public the relevance of his research. These events included national events (e.g., Encontro Ciência), Aveiro Municipality events (Aveiro Techdays/Techweek), and University of Aveiro events (OpenCampus, Summer Academy, Xperimenta, DAO Open Day, Research@DAO, among others).
