Tânia Silva-Santos, nutritionist, master in Consumer Sciences and Nutrition and PhD in Food Consumption Sciences and Nutrition from the University of Porto. Her master's thesis was on the intake of sodium sources in children (2015) and since then she has been interested in efforts to reduce salt consumption. In 2022, she completed her PhD in the IMCSalt project on the impact of a randomized clinical trial with the Salt Control H equipment on dietary salt intake, dietary behavior and blood pressure. Currently, she is an integrated doctoral researcher at the Associated Laboratory for Integrative and Translational Research in Population Health (ITR), coordinated by the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto.
