Julia Nadine Doetsch completed her doctoral degree (PhD) at Maastricht University (FHML) in the Care and Public Health Research Institute (CAPHRI) in September 2023. The PhD was jointly supervised by CAPHRI and the Instituto de Saúde Pública da Universidade do Porto (ISPUP). She completed her Master of Science (MSc) in Global Health (2016) and her Bachelor of Science (BSc) in European Public Health (2015) at Maastricht University (UM), Faculty of Health Medicine and Life Sciences (FHML). She works as a research assistant at the Instituto de Saúde Pública da Universidade do Porto (ISPUP) in the Epidemiology Research Unit (EPIUnit). She worked as a research assistant in the project RECAP preterm (Horizon 2020) at ISPUP in Porto. Previously, she was a research assistant in the EURO-HEALTHY project (Horizon 2020) at the University of Coimbra in Coimbra. She received an award at the ASPHER Young Researchers Forum - EUPHA 2018.
